Ya know the first time Mikey and Izana steal the food from your mouth and pop it straight into theirs without a moment's hesitation, you probably wouldn't even realize they stole your food until you bit down on considerably less than what you had started out with, or nothing at all, thanks to their nimble fingers and quick reaction. Mikey probably just saw something in your mouth that he wanted to try, and maybe Izana wants what you're having, specifically what you were eating right now because of how much you seem to be enjoying it. And to the two boys, doesn't matter if you're mid-chew, it was only nice if you shared it with them. They don't tell you that before stealing of course, you're expected to already know.

But if you start to guard what you eat, for example covering your mouth when you're chewing or turning away from them, then that's when Mikey and Izana start to get really, really curious about what you're trying to hide from them, and now they absolutely must have whatever you were having. Mikey will simply brush your hand away and pull your food directly from your mouth, quickly popping it into his own before you even had the chance to protest, while Izana prefers to back you up against a wall, pry away both hands that you had pressed against your mouth, press open your lips with just enough force, and then extract whatever he wanted to have.

Basically there's no running from sharing. Just better to go along with it and let them sometimes steal your food.

And then when Izana just casually returns the favour, absentmindedly popping whatever he was eating into your mouth while you were mid-sentence cause he thinks that you would like to share, you'll be a good mix confused, surprised and a little disgusted, almost choking cause obviously you weren't expecting that. Izana would be utterly bewildered if you did tell him (nicely) that you didn't want whatever he was eating, since to him, if he wanted to have what you were eating, then you must want what he was having as well. Would 100% pull out the watery eyes that melt your heart if you ever try to be firm and tell him no, so I guess you just gotta get use to it after awhile.

No running from this one either, Izana will push his half-eaten food past your lips and have you eat the rest whether you like it or not. Still absolutely bizarre every time it happens, even Kakucho thinks its gross but what can he do?
